Sales are marked ended. The ended Eventbrite page, as fetched August 27, 2026, no longer showed a ticket price or a speaker list on the public text. On February 24, 2026, reporter Erica Sandberg posted on X that she had been at a public panel of that title the night before, that Ned Segal, San Francisco’s Chief of Housing and Economic Development, and Lisa Huang of Gensler were set to speak, and that the event page had no no-reporting rule. She quoted the venue host, Manny Yekutiel: “You can’t report about the event tonight,” said Manny Yekutiel, leaning close to me. “You agree, right?” She wrote that he told her it was not a press event, that she closed her laptop, and that nothing earth-shattering was said — the building for sale, ideas up to the buyer. That is her account. The quoted request is attributed to the host, not to Segal. This site does not find that Segal gagged the press, and it does not invent remarks he did not publish.
